Owl - Year 3/4
PE lessons will take place every Monday and Wednesday afternoon. Please ensure that all items of clothing, especially sweatshirts, are clearly labelled. Girls should have their hair tied back, if it is long. Earrings should be removed, for health and safety. If your child is unable to take part in PE, please contact the school office. PE bags will be sent home every half term. For this term children need to have available an outdoor PE kit including trainers. Children will need trainers in school for the Golden Mile at all times.
Reading - Your child needs to be reading five times a week for a sustained period of around 15 minutes. You should ask your child questions about what they have read to check understanding. Sign and date your child's reading record so they are eligible for the reading rewards scheme.
Maths - Your child needs to be practising their times tables regularly in order to become proficient with them. Your child will know which of the times tables they are currently working on. Your child will also receive maths homework relating to what they have been studying in class that week.
Topic - Your child will receive topic based homework which will cover a variety of different tasks and can be presented in any format.
All homework will be handed out on a Friday and needs returning by the following Thursday.
