Enfield Academy of New Waltham is a small village school in a rural setting which accommodates 163 children at present and we are growing.
We currently have 6 classes, including a fully equipped and newly re-furbished reception class.
Our School Ethos
To nurture our children into well-rounded individuals and enable them to flourish into confident, life-long learners.
We pride ourself at Enfield Academy in promoting a happy, purposeful atmosphere as we get to know our children well. We encourage children and adults to care for and respect each other. Together, we celebrate our differences and our successes, no matter how small. We have high expectations of behaviour and standards of achievement. We expect everyone in our school community to take responsibility for, and pride in, their own learning and rise to challenges with resilience and perseverance. We believe that we learn more from our failures than by our successes. We promote tolerance, respect, collaboration, individual liberty, the rule of law and democracy.
Our Key Drivers mean that we all commit to the following:
- Being the very best version of ourselves that we can be
- Offering an inspiring, challenging curriculum
- Celebrating the uniqueness of everyone
- Creating a culture of positivity and a 'can-do' approach to learning.
